Celona, a private wireless services specialist, is set to unveil a major integration with cyber security provider Palo Alto Networks. The partnership aims to strengthen security for enterprise devices connected to privately run 4G and 5G wireless mobile networks. The integration between Celona’s Orchestrator network management platform and Palo Alto’s Cortex XSOAR security automation and response service will allow users to map device data and IP addresses in real-time, enabling automated zero-trust policy enforcement. This integration will be showcased at the upcoming 2024 Mobile World Congress trade fair. The collaboration aims to enhance security across various areas, such as incident profiling, secure access, and IoT device behavior. It will also enable the exchange of client information between Palo Alto’s IoT platform and Celona’s Edge operating system through open APIs. The partners believe that robust security is crucial for 5G networks to fulfill their potential in transforming industries. They will target enterprise customers in sectors heavily reliant on IoT, such as transport, logistics, fuel supply, and manufacturing. By integrating Celona’s platform with Palo Alto’s next-generation firewall and IoT security offerings, dynamic, real-time security policies can be set up at the subscriber and device level, providing further visibility, analytics, and prevention measures.
